school grading sysux

ok this is kinda pissing me off i got 2 B+'s and 2 A's in science and my average final grade was B+
y do they round down?

Maybe it was something like 85 85 90 90 and it would round to 87.5, which is a B+.

They normally, round normal. Teachers look better if their students do better, so why make it harder for them?

Just to show you how I figured it out...
Let's assume the following scale,
4/4= A
3/4= B
2/4= C
1/4= D
0/4= F
You got 2 A's and 2 B's, so that's...
4+4+3+3= 14
Since you had four classes, you had a possible total of 16 points to get.
So you got 14/16,
And 14 divided by 16 = 87.5%... B+

B+ is a passing grade. You should be happy with what you got. It doesn't matter unless you truly know that you did your best to try and pass.

on the grading system though its A = 4 B+ = 3.5
4+4+3.5+3.5=15 15divided by4=3.75 3.5<3.75<4
see my grades have 3.5+3.5 not 3 + 3 which would be a B and not a B+
i think I'm definitely right and i got all A's in Math and a 90 on regents so Wahhla.
