Ok so I shower daily and scrup very well. I've never had any dandruff problems until about a year ago when i went into puberty. And i've got some dandruff shampoo.
So does dandruff have anything to do with puberty? Like the oily hair?

I have that too, but I've never heard anything about it being related to puberty, but I wouldn't be surprised.

My hair is naturally thick and curly, so during the summer my scalp gets very dried out because of nearly no airflow to it. I normally keep it short, and when it's short, I don't have NEARLY as bad dandruff.

I use Head and Shoulders, and it works pretty good.

My ex-girlfriend had dandruff. She found that it only occurred to her during the winter times. This is most likely because your scalp becomes very dry and flaky. Which results dandruff to occur.

Like LeRoy_Fan has mentioned, Head and Shoulders work quite good. But you can also look for other shampoos and such. They'll usually be labeled Dandruff shampoo or of another title that's relatively close. But be aware that not all will do the job. The active chemical in effective dandruff shampoo is called Pyrothione Zinc / Pyrothione. Look on the bottle if this is contained in that shampoo or medication. Good health to you and good luck on your dandruff issue.

I use Head and Shoulders if I have any dandruff. It could be due to any intake of something oily. But, I don't think that would have anything to do with hair. I would use a dandruff shampoo.

i have had mild dandruff before, but as long as i wash my hair everyday, i'm sweet. the dandruff only got out of control once for me and thats when i tried to colour my hair. i learnt my lesson there and only have my natural hair colour now.

yes, however, stephen brings up a good point, wash your hair daily. [alternate shampoos if you can actualyl make time to do it daily]

Use some hair oil/grease. It's usually in the section with african american hair products (Don't ask me why). It works wonders, it's like lotion for you scalp, it keeps it hydrated and if you buy the right one it smells pretty good.

It works well on me I use it from time to time, I hate combing or doing anything to my hair, so I sort of pay the price. I use this stuff in a pink bottle, I forget how much it costs but you can find it at walmart.
