You guys MUST see the movie American History X, starring Ed Norton..it deals with Race relations...it is a fantastic movie and should be required viewing for all.

I've never heard about this. What time era does it take place in? It sounds like it takes place in the Segregation Era.

I love American History X. I just watched it twice this week. It's one of my favorite movies. Eddie Furlong and Ed Norton do amazing jobs. My quote from the movie is, "Hate is baggage, life's too short to be pissed off all the time." Danny Vinyard (Eddie Furlong).

I think everyone should watch it, but it's a little graphic for requiring it for school or something. I think in a college psychology/sociology class or maybe even in high school it would be good. But yes, I agree everyone should watch it, because it shows people the terrible things associated with hate.

If you want to watch it, I'll warn you that it contains violence, very strong language, racial slurs/hate crimes, and nudity/rape/strong sexual content.

It's a part of my high school's History Through Film watch list.

Definitely shows how bad racism can get.
The part where the black man gets curb-stopped...
The sound of it makes me freak out and cry everytime :(

Nontheless, it's in my top 20 favorite movies.
