Gwyn, always something, huh?
You only bleed if there's actual tissue damage. The shaft/end of an earring is pretty small (small enough to get thru those itsy bitsy holes in your lobes), and my bet would be you didn't stab yourself deeply enough to actually rip anything open in there, there was no real tisssue damage. No damage, no blood.
It's always better to be on the low side of the normal weight scale for your age/height. There's less health problems associated with being on the low side of normal. However, if we're talking ALOT less than normal, that brings with it it's own set of health issues. But, that's not what i'm hearing here.

Gwyn, go to one of those online weight charts and see where you are. Ideally, you should be in the middle somewhere. Extremes (in anything, really) aren't such a good thing. If you're in the middle, you're OK.

Im about the same. Im 155 and 5'6. I dont think it really matters, as long as youre healthy. For me, as long as you eat fruits, vegetables, and everything you need as well as getting good excercise, youre fine.
