Don't worry, you're fine. I'm 5'9" (and have been tall my whole life), and there have been times I've felt like I was too tall myself. As you get older though, you'll find that a lot of the guys catch up to you and a lot of the girls envy you. Just try to get used to your height, you're not going to shrink, and remember that being tall isn't a bad thing. Models are usually tall, and for every guy who doesn't like tall girls, there's another one who does (though most shouldn't be so picky as to turn you down for your height). So be proud, us tall girls gotta stick together. xP

Hehe. Jessi, you came out of the womb at 5'9". Giant baby there.

Anyways, don't worry about your height. Like Jessi said, it's not changing. Just look at it this way, you won't have to wear heels. I am also almost 5'9", and am the tallest one out of my friends by a good 2 or 3 inches for most of them. I can't borrow their pants, but they all wish they were as tall as me. I never noticed the difference and how big it was, but then I realized that I could look straight over my best friend's head.

Either way, embrace it. You will be able to see up onto the refrigerator to get stuff! Although, you probably will bump your head once in a while. XD

Standing out may not seem like a good thing, but try to think it is - confidence is one of the most attractive things about people, so dwelling on your height is gonna make you less sexy (d'ya get what I'm saying?)

Guys LOVE short gals 'cos it makes them feel more typically masculine :D
Guys also LOVE tall gals 'cos they tend to have long sexy legs ;)

Height is maybe a factor of dating during the teenage years because guys grow slower than girls in general and they may feel a little intimidated.
BUT
When they (and you) do finish growing, height won't even be considered in dating, I mean if you're with someone 'cos they're short or 'cos they're tall than that is pretty pathetic.

I guess I'm the only one who recalls you're TG.

For a guy, you'd be OK, tall actually. But, since you consider yourself female, I suppose in the USA you'd be considered tall. I guess it serves as a reminder that you're not totally comfortable or accepting of the body you've been born with.

I think becoming comfortable with who you are is a major task for you (as I'm sure you know). Your height is just one of those things, and a reminder of the work you need to do. But maybe if you just saw it as a package you might be more comfotable with it. No matter who we are or what we think of ourselves, it's what's inside that package that matters the most, and is the part we have control over.

It's just your body, it's only a small part of your identity, of who you are. Work on those other parts, that's who determines who you are and your worth anyway.
