Well, the other night my family ate beef that was recalled because it was infected with E Coli, and we are experiencing some of the symptoms, so... We may have it.
Any suggestions on how you can tell if you have it or not?
The person my mom called about it said there was no treatment, is that true?

E coli is only dangerous when the meat is bad, other than that the abundance of it in your system will make you sick.

Well there was a recall on the meat (but we already ate it :P), so i assume it was bad

Just remember that e coli is on like un cooked things like raw meat or raw vegetables. Like a few weeks ago when the tomatoes had that e coli but that was only RAW tomatoes. If you ate cook tomatoes that had been cooked you wouldn't get it. If you cooked the meat well enough, you should have gotten rid of it.

Ok because it was in hamburger, and we had cheeseburgers the other night, and the meat was recalled after we ate it. I think they were actually a little bit burnt.

Nick, you'd know if you had e. Coli. You'd have watery diaherrea, severe stomach cramps, and a fever. Maybe throwing up, too. It's pretty awful.
Very often, when an outbreak is suspected, to play it safe, ALL the meat from a particular packing house is recalled, it's hard for them to determine which is OK and which isn't, so they recall all of it. So, eventhough a small portion might have been infected, they recall everything. So, eventhough your meat might have been part of the recall, it doesn't mean that your meat was necessarily infected.
If you feel Ok, don't worry about it, it's just gross and creepy and scary, but not dangerous. No symptoms=no e. Coli. if you or your family gets sick, call the doctor or the local poison control center right away.
