Can anyone suggest to me any ideas on how to get to sleep? I am a little insomniac and don't get enough sleep.

Also i really don't get tired unless i do A LOT of physical activity.

Should i sleep naked or what??

Well, you cant really have a little insomnia you either have it or you dont. Also well just sleep just turn everything off get under the blankets on the blankets what ever you prefer. Still I highly doubt that sleeping in the nude will help you get to sleep, consult a physician if the issue presists.

There's the obvious stuff, like avoiding caffeine (in soda), winding down before bed, by readng or listening to Mozart (avoiding anything exciting), avoiding naps in the afternoon, etc.

If you do better exercising, make sure you get enough of that. Think about your lifestyle and the things that you do that could be keeping you up, and modify them.

You probably have some insomnia as KGTM said. If you do some physical activity such as masturbating it keeps you up and takes much energy but you can't sleep. I would suggest going to the doctor and talking to him/her about it.

They might prescribe a sleeping pill

i usually just take sleeping pills and they knock me right out try and ask to go to the doctor to get something prescribed if not you can go to your local gmc store and get these melatonin pills that help you sleep or... tylonel pm is another sleepin pill

I don't know how it works for an insomniac, but those are some tips.

-Also, to add to my list in that thread, don't drink a lot of water before you go to bed. Makes you pee.
-Be sure to make yourself as comfortable as possible. Wear whatever you want, a whole bunch of stuff, or nothing. Just make sure you're comfortable.
-listen to a relaxing song
-have a big day. If you have a big day, it wears you out, so you can go to sleep easier.
-Try to get a good sleep schedule. If you do things randomly you'll always feel tired. Get used to something and stick with it.
-TRY to get that sleep. You can practially feel depressed and emo and just be a horrible bad person if you don't get the right amount of sleep. it really makes a difference.
-try taking benadryl an hour before bed if you're not allergic to it and your parents allow it. Aside from helping fight off allergies, it also makes you drowsy.
-try reading before you go to bed. its not as stimulating as tv and its quiet.

those are just some ideas. sorry if they don't help, I don't know HOW hard it is for you to sleep.

There really is no assured way to get to sleep unless you are prescribed some sort of sleeping pills. I am a long-time chronic insomniac - without pills, I usually get about 3 or 4 hours of sleep no matter how hard I try. Of course, the problem with pills is they are addicting, and not always necessary.

Since I can remember, I could never fall asleep. I have tried every method there is, and there are only four methods of getting to sleep for me.

1. Sleeping medication
2. Lots of physical activity earlier in the day.
3. Getting less than 3 hours of sleep the night before.
4. Getting lucky.

Otherwise, you just have to test out what makes you relaxed and what doesn't.
