Has anyone actually gone on a proper date? I've been with this girl 16 months, engaged and all. But never really gone ond a "Date" as such. Unless you count a really fancy pizza hut place i payed for :D But seriosuly, just curious.

...Erm, not a REAL date. I remember, just before I wentout with my last boyfriend, we joked around by calling a trip to the canteen a date... Um, actually that's about it, I haven't even had had any other joke dates :(

Yes,and it was good and bad. I went to Italy with my girlfriend (expensive enough, I saved up for 2 years lol) and we went out at a really formal place where they only spoke Italian and I dished out like, 130 dollars ( not sure about the conversion rate for the currency, but around there.), but it was totally worth itt.

Well, if you went to a pizza place and you paid, I'd call that pretty much a date.

There's a certain formality to 'a date' that makes it a bit too formal and serious, so we usually 'hang out' instead. However, aside from the formality of it and who pays, the thing that matter is the intent of the event. If you and *whoever* are sharing 'quality time', that you really connect emotionally and feel closer as a result, you've been 'out', reegadless of what you actually call it.
