It looks like a high exposure time combined with a small aperture, so the fireworks streaked, but the picture didn't wash out from the brightness. Just a guess.

I really like the first and last ones in the first post. They're pretty psychedelic, although all of them are very chaotic. Try capturing some of the more "boring" fireworks, but make them streak across the lens if you want less chaotic ones; it can actually turn out very clean and somewhat controlled. These are probably my best fireworks shots. I just went crazy in the grand finale.
