My brother is 16 and after he saw my other brother 18 smoking tobacco he started to smoke some too and now he told me that he is addicted to it and that he is going to wrap up some tobacco and smoke it with his friend who is also 16. I told him and his friend that it isn't good for them but they told me that they didn't want to live long. What should i do?

Tell an adult, soon! The adult will take care of it. Also, DONT GET STARTED YOURSELF!

I agree with iJack, DO NOT start with it yourself.
And you should probably tell an adult as well. Honestly, it might be a scary idea to tell an adult, but it's for the best. He might not thank you right away, but he will later.

I doubt that they'll get away with it for long. They'll smell bad their teeth will always be yellow, they will run out of breath easily. There's SO many signs that only an idiot couldn't figure it out, especially at 16 which is probably near the most common age to start (dont quote me on that...). I suggest not going anywhere near tobacco and telling an adult is smart, but they'll get caught one way or another. You should speed it up and tell an adult though before they permanently hurt themselves too badly.

its your brothers choice, sorry. I certainly don't condone the use of tobacco, but your brother has to learn for himself. In two years he'll be able to legally buy and posses cigarettes, he'll also have to find a job if he wants to fuel this addiction. My advice, mind your own business, I know you probably wouldn't want someone nagging or snitching on you you all the time.

whoa whoa, chill. your brother could be doing worse things. hes just smoking but if you talk to him but not flip out on him, he may listen. theres no need to snitch on him, for cigarettes.

Tell an adult about it. Like someone else said, don't get started yourself! If they offer you tobacco, say "No." Good luck, Caitlin
