Do you mean delete your account? They don't because of the possibility that you'll come back. If you wanna stop coming to VT just stop, but your account won't be deleted, unless you ask say Alex (redcar) I think.

^^ Even if you ask Alex [or any other admin for that matter] your account WILL NOT be deleted. There would have to be an EXTREME reason for you to NEED your account to be deleted in order for it to be deleted. If you're done here, just leave. If you want to get rid of your old posts, simply edit them out. Just go, no one's going to force you to come back. Delete your history if you have to. Just forget about VT.

^^ Yeah, but a good reason would have to be like multiple accounts or legal reasons. If someone just wants their account deleted because they regret coming on this site, well, that's not a good enough reason.

The main reason we don't delete accounts is because that means posts will be missing from threads and they wont make sence.

Anyways, yeah, accounts aren't deleted because it makes threads look messy and because there really isn't a need for it. You can simply just leave and never come back, you can edit out all your posts and you can get rid of any personal information you put up on this site, as well as change your name. There's really no need to delete your account if you do all that.

However, you could be asking if you can change your display name, to do that, just PM alex[redcar] ben[Kiros] or francis[Triple7]with the name you want
