ha she isn't though, it's a fake concern.
my mother is one of those negligent mothers who only cares about you when it'll look good for her too, like in public, to family we don't live with etc. and half the times shes yelling at us because i hate light so i shut all the shades.

Fake concern means she acknowledges your existence. I understand getting yelled at is bad, but I'm not sure it's the worst. I definitely see why you could be depressed though. As Sam saiid you've had more than your fair share of bad times.
