Does anyone else think this movie is great? I watched it last night and I never knew that the ship had so many problems during the mission.

I am a huge Tom Hanks fan ever since I saw Toy Story. Plus, the acting he brings along with Bill Paxton and many others is so dramatic that it's unlike any other movie I've seen.

yeah i saw that in science class a couple days before school ended. I felt so soory for the astronots who never went into space again after that appollo 13 tragedy

It wasn't a tragedy. When they were checking the systems the oxygen tank sprung a leak and most of the systems went down. If you paid attention then you would know. They were supposed to go to the moon. But, unfortunatly they didn't.

Niel Armstrong was the first to land on the moon while Buzz Aldrin was in the module looking out the window. Tom Hank's character said that this would be his last mission in space. Most of the others never went back.

I know I've watched it but I forget, which one was the one where they were testing in a like 99.9% oxygen enviroment and a spark came from some bad wiring or something like that and it started a fire? Was that Ed White?

I, for some reason, dont like the acting in this movie. I enjoy it though.

Classic movie, yet I didnt enjoy it that much.

First saw it years ago, seen it several times though. I quite like it.
