Is this bipolar?

I am 16 years old and I have OCD, so i freak out alot about having mental problems, anyway, sometimes I will get really excited and feel happy and i start to walk fast, and other times i get kind of sad, not extremely depressed to the point of killing myself or anything but some times i cry and feel like i have a bunch of problems that i can never overcome, and then later i will start to feel better about things and i get happy again, and sometimes i get really tense and irritated and mad. I have asked my parents what they think and they both said that i was not bi polar and its normal for my age, but i can't stop freaking out about it.

yeah, it started back in late '06 and I never really thought about it then one day i looked up bi polar and started to freak out. Thank you for the response, I feel better.

I'm kind of like that sometimes, not to the point of crying but certainly to the point of wet eyes. I know what it's like =/

I can safely say no, as I'm bipolar myself.
It's normal for a teenager to be like that,
And Bipolar is the most common misdiagnosed mental illness.
There seems to be a fine line between hormones and BPD,
And most to all teens ride it thinking it's BPD.
It's truly up to a physician to diagnose you though.

Its kind of hard to tell. It depends on how your body acts.

The mood swings are the giveaway for some reason.

Well the OCD could be making you take the symptoms out of proportion, which might be why you're freaking out about it. But like people have said, go to your doctor and get referred to a paediatric psychologist, they'll be able to diagnose / help you better.
