How do u beleive that humanS WERE created?

I believe a little of both. I know that there is definitely a higher power, and that the facts show we evolved. I just don't think we could possibly ever know.

I use to think so too, but why would a god want all to be mindless zombies all doing what we are told? That's a little boring.

robbiehay1
July 1st, 2008, 04:10 PM
but we dont do what we are told we never have
you could think of humans like computer games - not everyone is programed the same way and thus were all differnt but we are all the same but we all have to play are way thro life level by level until -GAME OVER-

sorry i ranted on a bit there, i hope you can make some sense of that :P

there is no god. evolution shows all the facts. religion was made up to explain the unexplainable.

we are just a race of ape mutants who happen to be the dominant race of species on earth at this time. we arent the first, and we wont be the last. This world will be crawling with different types of species long after humans are no more. I dont think we're a "chosen race of god" by any means.

Evolution isn't a creationist theory so it doesnt fit under 'how do you believe humans were created'.

But I believe in evolution (:

^^ I thought you were a devout Spoonist. *Cries*

Btw, here is the Spoon theory explained:

Before there was anything, there was Spoon and there was Fork. Both Spoon and Fork floated around endlessly in a timeless space containing no solid objects, nothing but an endless pit of darkness. One day Spoon and Fork collided, and in a "big bang" of sorts, the universe as we know it came to be. Once the Spoon and the Fork collided, the Spoon shattered, while the Fork remained in tact. The Fork floated deep into space, into the "abyss" never to be seen again. The Spoon's shattered pieces went on to form the planets, the stars, the sun, the moon[s], asteroids, meteors, comets, etc. The Spoon had so much potential energy though, that some of it had to be stored and reused by something that would seemingly live, and thus some of the Spoon's millions of molecules left over after the creation of the planets and everything else came together to form microorganisms. These microorganisms eventually evolved due to what we refer to as "Evolution", though the way they evolved follows the theory of evolution, the reasoning behind it is slightly different. They evolved as each organism contained too much energy, and the only way to survive was to "evolve" into a larger or "more powerful" organism that could contain more energy. Eventually instead of larger, the goal became more complex, so that at one point, the evolved species would be able to harness the energy, use it to its advantage. Thus we ended up with humans. And with the amount of energy given off by the great spoon, we humans or "hoo-mans" are bound to evolve one day too, into beings of superior strength and intellect.

Anyway, I am actually a Spoonist, but my latest mission for them was under cover so i had to pretend to be evolutionist!

you shouldnt be depressed. Its the most logical explaination we have about how us humans came to be on this planet. Having faith in something is great, but alot of people choose to believe in something that's been proven by science and facts, opposed to some book written thousands of years ago. (Im assuming your christian, i apologize if your not) Now i can sort of understand some people believing in evolution through god, but i believe that this universe is so vast we can not even begin to understand how much is out there. I do not think that we are very important at all in the big picture. we are just like all the other animals on this planet. We're born, We live, We pro-create, We die. I admit there are lots of unanswered questions about why we're here and how life in general began but i don't think that just saying "god did it" is a legit answer to something that we know nothing about.

I think the Spoon theory [though mostly ridiculous] is somewhat logical. I like my idea of a "flow of energy". Now of course there is a lot of proof of evolution/natural selection and I of course believe in all that, but I also believe [though this may stem off of evolution itself] that in order for a species to evolve another species kind of has to "die off" in order for there to be a balance of energy. Also from the Spoon theory [my Spoon theory] the idea that energy "overflows" and then needs to kind of settle down kind of relates to natural selection in that sometimes a species is either a waste of energy [just can't adapt, doesn't have the right mutations to survive] or that there is too much of said species and the weaker are forced to die off [due to an overflow of energy] while the stronger [those who have adapted better/got lucky by chance mutations] live on [and help maintain energy balance]. 0.o

^^ Spoon theory answers it all! Evolution by Spoon! Come on, its so freaking logical!!! Spoon is greater than us all. We are Spoon, in that we are all made up of Spoon. If you look at "the Spoon theory" I made up/posted and examine it closely, you'll see that if you replace certain words with other words it makes a helluva lot of sense. Look at it closely, seriously. Realize what it implies. Spoonism is the most serious bullshit religion ever created!

Evolution hands down

Agreed. Having gone to a Catholic private school for most of my education (apart from this year), we were never taught the theory of evolution, thus I've pretty much had to read and watch documentaries, thus teaching myself. Even though we were taught in Religious Studies for many years that evolution was mythical and that God had created us in his image and we were basically a superior species who had been around since the great ka-boom, it's blatantly obvious that that isn't true, as there is so much evidence to the contrary (sp? Probably.) Fossils and other things have revealed that modern humans (also known as Co-Magnon's) only appeared as early as 10,000 - 12,000 years ago, the same time as the Ice Age(s) started causing heck with the world's environment, the same time as Mammoth's and all that.
Fossils etc, have revealed to archaeologists and paleaontologists (again, sp. Am high on pain pills for broken ribs, so please excuse me.) a great deal of information from the millions of years on this earth after the dinosaurs became exint. Basically, fossils with the entire eco-system preserved in them. It's well known that humans are a highly evolved species of great ape, and while that may sound crazy and way too animalistic to believe, when you actually simplify it down, it's the most logical, scientific answer, the one of which provides the most physical proof.

I believe God created the universe and that we evolved from his orgasms, so techiniclly, I believe both.

Fixed. [Actually, that's what I thought it said when I first read it]

Btw, did anyone seriously look into my Spoonism theory and find the "hidden" message [i.e. what it really is pointing at]?
