XBOX 360 - PS3 - Wii

Because of a recent arguement, I figured I'd make this thread :) Which do you like or dislike more or less? Oh and I found my old post about the consoles :D

ok well heres my descriptions of all the consoles out right now.

Wii - Family oriented, fun to play, takes physical movement, cartoonish graphics
Xbox 360 - The middle console which is good overall graphics and gameplay.
Playstation 3 - For pro gamers. For people who want to sit down and play a serious game. Excellent graphics. For mainly one or two people.

Gameboy - Gameboy Color - Gameboy SP - Gameboy DS
Microsoft still has to make a portable gaming device :D

XBOX 360 = PS3 = Wii.

Now there should probably be > next to the Wii [on the left], but I think the Wii is innovative and has quite a few good games. 360 [as of right now] owns online, but still, if you look at future releases for the PS3, the PS3 is certainly becoming more attractive. The 360 had its great games come out [COD4, Gears, Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, Halo 3, etc.], but now the PS3 is seeing its great games come out [Resistance 2, Killzone 2, InFamous, Haze, God of War III, etc.]... We still see great multiplatform games though too, such as Fallout 3, and we can't forget that every console has its advantages as well as its disadvantages. Each individual fits a different console, unique to his/herself. There will be people claiming that the PS3 is the greatest or that the 360 is the greatest, and its just because they're really in love with the system. Who cares what the facts say, if you like your PS3, even if its "statistically" worse than the 360, why should you care what they say about the 360? You should only care about your PS3 and the great games that are coming out for it, etc. Anyone who doesn't appreciate all three systems isn't a true gamer. Again, if you only appreciate one system, you're not a true gamer. I like my Sega Genesis and my Dreamcast, and my SNES just as much as I like my Gamecube, my PS2, and even my 360. If I could afford it, I would by every system out there, but I can't. I buy what I can afford based on what I hear. When I initially bought the 360 I bought it because games like Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, COD4, Halo 3, etc. intrigued me. Now if I had the money I admit I would like to buy both the PS3 and the Wii. Super Smash is loads of fun [I have a couple of friends who have the Wii] and RE5 looks like its going to be sick [though its supposedly also coming out for the 360], and Resistance 2, Killzone 2, and God of War III look like they're going to be some of the sickest games ever [for the PS3]. That's just my two cents though.

I have a wii and I like it but I want both PS3 and Xbox360 But yh I haven't tried them so I'm not gonna say anything =/

You left off "all of them", as "none of them" implies you don't like any of them, while "all of them" implies you like all of them equally.

on a side note: If you say you hate sony altogether, than you hate all electronic devices becauce even in 360's, there is at least one part made by sony.

but i still hate PS3

The reason I voted for 360, Wii, and none of them is because I prefer to game on my PC, but there are some exclusives I like on the consoles. I don't own any of them, though. It's just not a priority for me this generation. I'd rather have my nice, fast computer and get a good guitar in a month.

360 has HDMI cables to go with it so it puts out in 720p, 1080p, and 1080i. Graphics are just as good if not better than PS3

Yeah but I didn't really want to put in PC because they aren't very comparable and this is just mainly consoles and 3 companies try to beat each other in all out gaming WAR!!!!!.............:D

That's probably true. The 360 has a superior graphics card (a DX10 card with one shader array disabled), although its processor is less robust, but easier to code for. The PS3 has a slightly higher potential, but the 360's is easier to make use of.

360 simply because it was the first of the new gen to be released so i bought it when my old xbox crapped out i'm very happy with it i'm not a hardcore gamer i just like to have fun so its great

and i love the wii my bro in law has one

playstation simply came out to late doesn't have the game titles i'm used to and like (halo, fable, etc..) and its to expensive
