ok today me and my friend were folding clothes and she came across my boxers (which is normal, everyone sees my boxers). but she just randomly said that her mom told her that its not good to wear boxers. b/c it gives a "limited suply" (ya kno not much growth) and its better to wear boxerbriefs or briefs. so i asked her mom if it was true and she said yeah. but i figured i'd ask here too.

Boxer-briefs and briefs offer more support than boxers ever could. It helps supports your scrotum and penis position. Also it's much comfier in my opinion.

It's my understanding that the exact opposite is true. Guys who wear boxers then to have larger penises that those who wear briefs. However, the difference is so minimal that it's not really all that noticable. Wear what makes you comfortable and forget what they said.

yes, and the article clearly states "One popular belief is that if you let the penis "hang out" more (by wearing less restrictive clothing), the penis will tend to stretch and grow, but that makes little scientific sense."

the trend was a little odd, but just because ONE survey says that DOES NOT mean that it's true. A fact is something that can be tested over and over again and still come out with the exact same results. This thing here is subjective because it's a survey, which are generally less precise than studies.

NOBODY on this forum should completely believe that "OMG I SHOULD NOT WEAR BRIEFS OR MY PENIS WILL BE TINY!!" It's only from one survey, not even a study (which are more accurate). Even in this survey, it shows that the people with briefs still have an average penis size.

So anyways, bloo ppl, like everyone said, usually the opposite is true for most people who ask. They usually ask "will briefs restrict growth", not "will boxers restrict growth".

The answer to your question is no. Your friend's mom is wrong.
