I was swimming today for a long while (maybe about 5 hours total time in the water) and now i am experiencing some pain in my left arm in the should and mid join.
Is it normal to have pains like this after swimming for such a time.
ps i was on a trampoline for a while too.

An explanation I could think of is it worked out your muscles. Were you doing alot of swimming?
As for your mid join... You could've just somewhat gone into a position that you're body wasn't capable of. Especially if you're on the trampoline.

Over-exerscising. Do some stretched before and after you go in the water. As for now, you could take ibeupophen to take away the pain (suggestion). Try not swimming for such long periods of time. Break it up a little, give your body some time to relax

It could possibly be charliehorses because of all the weight thats on your body while your in the water. G force pressures put more stress on your joints so that could possibly be your issue.

okay, this is actually an area of expertise for me, as i'm a swimmer
You were in the pool for a LONG while!!
Your having shoulder pain? what strokes were you swimming. Swimming is surprisingly strenuous if you're not swimming quite right. I get shoulder pain in my right shoulder a lot --but the muscle in mine isn't right, so that's expected -- mainly while swimming freestyle.
The Trampoline doesn't have anything to do with it, unless you slammed your arm on it(lol)
In short, yes. normal
It'll go away, in the mean time, take an advil or something
Also, for future reference, don't swim for more than about three hours. And STRETCH OUT before swimming
look i even checked my spelling

you probably over-worked and you should take a chill time or not do it as much ! :P
