It just to do with their usergroups nothing to worry about at all.

some older users also have (or had) no post count faces, such as Dying to Live and tick-tock.

One time I noticed I didn't have a post count face when I changed my email but didn't click the link to validate it yet. My guess is it has something to do with usergroups in that catagory...so maybe dying to live and tick tock changed their email so they could block out vt forever.

and maybe other users that have changed their email but haven't validated it yet have the same thing.

Email validation has something to do with it. There is other factors as well with the usergroups. Small changes can make the face disappear because there could be a change to the display usergroup.
