Well in about an hour from when I posted this I'll be going to the gym with this girl. I really like her and all and I kinda just wanna become closer friends first before I actually start heading more into a serious perspective. I'm going with her everyday for the next 3 months so you're answer will be welcomed until then. Well the problem is that we're friends and all, but we don't really talk much and when we do it's somewhat awkward for both of us, unless it involves working out and crap. What are some topic/conversation starters I can use/say to bond with her closer.

Alex, it's easiest to stay with what works and what's comfortable. So, in your case, that would be 'whatever you've been talking about', and maybe whatever it is you're both currently doing, like working out. Talk about the work out.
Things take time, they move along at their own pace, you cannot really push it along, just stay with it and enjoy it. And remember that there are 2 kinds of 'talk', the verbal kind, and the non verbals. So, if it gets awkward talking, try doing something non verbals like smiling more, or standing a little closer, etc. Non verbal communication is as effective and important as the talking, and it's often less awkward.

If you can't find new topics for talking, expand on the old ones. For example, if you're talking about working out you could bring up something about the Olympics this year. The more interesting the better, obviously.
Maybe after working out you could offer to buy her a drink or something. If you know her favorite drink or whatever then maybe you can show her that you know it.
As Sam said earlier, non-verbal hints are just as important as the verbal ones. Remember, the hints might not be just coming from your end, so watch to make sure she's not hinting.
I hope this helps :)

Thanks. The non-verbal communication thing does help.

Lol, she would kill me if I bought her a drink. She's been resisting so much of her favorite foods the past 3 months. Thanks for the input, I'll take that into consideration for next month though.
