but thats not how you do things in this world. and its spelt zimbabwe. you cant go around deciding we dont like this so we will change it to our line of thinking. the people of the country when they finally have had enough will then decide time to take action, and dont tell me that will never happen. the usa was once under british rule but you decided enough was enough and kicked them out as did we. its when they decide to change things should outsiders offer help. but not before.
no. that takes too long. so many people need to be mass murdered before people have the will to revolt in such numbers as to overthrow the gov. it doesnt just happen over nothing. most of the time people cant just "rise up". think about the black slaves in early america. think about the jews. millions of people being oppressed, couldnt do jack. i think that in the interest of freedom and happiness for the betterment of mankind, we have the right to intervene in foreign countries

No, we don't, it's not our culture. As screwed up as you think that is, it's still their decision not to work together and revolt, instead, they all worked for eachother and started killing eachother. And I'm not saying that's right, but we don't know what they're thinking. Plus, we should be talking about the war on terrorism, which initiated with 9/11. We haven't heard too much about that have we. Why haven't we heard much progress on the search for Osama Binladen? He's just as dangerous, so what if it's his so called religion, that should be our first priority. Not this war that has to do with the UK's searches for weapons in Iraq. Because we all know that's where it started, and if Bush hadn't made the mistake of going to war (not saying that it resulted 100% negatively, just not 100% positive), then we might just have sorted out our own national threats even though now we've created our own personal ones. Because as we know, these people aren't afraid to die and take other people with them. It's becoming (and was for a while) their custom. I'm affraid that through this war, there'll soon be a bigger, worse attack, and none of us want that.

I don't agree that most countries hate America, they really don't, the only thing we hate is the politics.. That's the only thing we don't like about America. Bush is too far to the right politically speaking.
The American Democrats would be on the right side in about 90 % of all countries in the world, but not in America.. And the Republicans would of course be even further to the right.
I know that very few Americans will agree with me, but almost everyone outside America thinks the same as me. You have everything you need in America, so few people bother to watch elections and other things in other countries. America, as a country, is far to the right in politics even if the Democrats win the next election.
But don't get me wrong, I really hope that the Democrats get the next president, no matter who that might be.[/quote]

Norway is not a member of the European Union, and Norway is concidered (by the UN) to be the best country in the world to live in for the 5th time in a row. We do NOT need the European Union to take all of our oil, gas and fish.
We have gotten rich without the European Union. Our neighboor, Sweden, is going down every year, and so is Denmark. They are both in the European Union. Iceland and Switzerland, who are not in the Union as well, are doing well too.
By the way, the European Union is not military, they will not support each other any more than anyone else.

i dunno how to explain it really, it basically takes down alot of internal boundries between member countries. like citizens of member countries can go work or live anywhere in the eu with no problem going there, no forms to fill in or anything. also it enables the free movement of capital and trade. there is also a currency the euro for 12 member countries and makes it so easy to compare prices. also a lot of taxes are controlled by the eu like corporation taxes etc..

Its got all the little states (in europts case, countryies) and you can freely roam anywhere in teh EU boundires wihtout passport etc (like roaming through the states) and all one currency and that kind of thing?

Yeah I don't really understand why brussels is the capital. Its stupid. All these cities to choose from and they made it brussels. why don't you just shoot me in the back I mean come on brussels? i eat brussels for dinner. well at the moment i dont see it happening. isuppose if the likes of germany or france decided they were not happy with things would change because they are the biggest and most powerful countries. like at the moment interest rates, which are controlled by the european central bank, are low because france and germany are economically not doing so well.

I'm sorry if someone thought that I'm saying that the European Union is a bad thing, of course it's not. I was just saying it to let people know that it's possible to survive without it. We are doing fine without it, and we have said no 2 times.
I think that Iceland, Switzerland and Norway will join it in some years. But we really do not need to. Iceland and Norway are half-way members, we have an economic deal with the EU.
The European Union is not military! I don't see why all people seem to think that. The members do not have any military alliance.
I think that countries like India and China are military underestimated. India is the military most advanced country in the world (and that is true), so they could kick any European country's ass anytime, if they are against each other without anyone else. But that is of course not going to happen.
But this topic is about Bush anyway, so I just wanna apologize for going off topic.

The only thing that makes me not sure President Bush is a moron is that he's so extremely good at getting away with whatever he wants.
He morphed Saddam Hussein into Osama Bin Laden, and the people bought it
He morphed Afghanistan into Iraq and the people bought it
He morphed "family values" into Christian beliefs should govern the US
He morphed the estate tax (tax on estates over 1 million dollars) into a "death tax"
He morphed liberal into "anti-american" and "pro-terrorism"
And so on, so if he's a moron...he's an extremely smart moron...so....perhaps he's just a horrible human being...that's all I can come up with
