Huge period question!

Hey this is like suuuuper embarrassing but really important!
mmm'k i first started my period in late november, skipped december...got it again in january...now i know that when you first start your period, your not going to be regular, but i haven't gotten my period since late january! That's 5-6 months!!!! Should I be worried? Should i talk to my mom...(i know she's my mom and all but im still super embarrassed to talk to her...) help me! :(

No need to worry. It's normal to skip a few months when your period is so new still. You'll get it again, and it'll start to even out a bit. It could be up to 2 or 3 years before it's totally regular, so don't worry about that. It should be getting more regular soon though, closer to every 4 weeks. It'll probably range between every 2 weeks and every 6 or 8 weeks for a while, and gradually get more and more predictable. Just keep a few pads or tampons in your purse when you go out, just in case, because at this point it's hard to predict exactly when it'll be back.

I skipped two months in a row earlier this year.
It all just depends on when the ovaries have a matured egg to release.

all those are great pointers for her but it could also be becouse u might be stressed when it did not come on the exact date and when u r streesed sometimes u don't get ur peroid untill u get rid of that stress so just calm down and u just might get it

welllll i have been under quite a bit of stress lately...you know...family and whatnot...but...going in to july and STILL not haveing your period (bout 6 months) is QUITE a bit more stressing.....

But anywho...i talked to my mom, and since she's going to her gyno, she'd ask for me....so it should be fine...
