...and i'm not talking about the game show here.

i have a personal agenda to this question, and thats all i'l say about that. my question is, and this is especially for those who are or have been in a relationship before. how do you deal with the temptation to do sexually related things or stop yourself from crossing over personal boundaries that were set?

this is something i'm struggling with. in my head, i know how far i want to go, but when the time comes the temptation is so overwhelming that it takes all my will power to stop myself and on at least 2 occasions now i have gone too far, and regret it afterwards. ughhh i hate feelings, emotions and hormones!

Well, I haven't been the one with the temptations,
But I've dated the one who had them.
From my point of view from the other end of the stick,
A partner who can tell you flat out NO is the best thing.
The word no is the ultimate kill-joy.

As for what you can do yourself...
I have to say that your best bet is to just keep on trying to resist,
Think of it as being a good guy and respecting her.
I know that you don't believe in sex until marriage,
So think of upholding your morals as well.

thanks steph. i know there isn't much you can do really. morals is about all i have left lol. i somehow think thats sex before marriage will be quite likely if i'm not careful. its so contradicting for me though. i've encouraged many friends of mine to resist temptation and think with your brain rather then your heart in different types of relationship and sexual stuff. it certainly doesn't give much credibility to any advice i give about temptations, thats for sure!
