i love the simpsons. one of the things i love are the funny lines you hear. like in the episode tonight, it was the one where homer was chosen as the union rep for mr burns' new plant in india. when he is at the airport the announcement lady says "india flight is now ready to board people in 1st class, small children and fat guys". i love it. so politically incorrect! :D

I've almost forgotten about them. After the movie the series just went a bit downhill I guess.

The movie rocked, no doubt, but the series just isn't the same.

virgin media (Cable company in UK) cut off sky 1 which shows the simpsons 1 year ago meaning I don't see the new episodes. I suppose I could download them but that wouldn't be the same. So I never see the simpsons so I've ended up addicted to family guy.

Yeah, Family Guy has basically taken over on our side of the pond. I love the Simpsons but it's just that the story lines are becoming more and more obvious that it doesn't feel the same.

Ever since the movie it's been an over-rated show.

In some ways I like the new episodes MORE! I love really corny obvious things that they do, so I guess I'm onto a winner there.
