I recently got a bruise ( not going to disclose how) on my left check and neck. I was wondering if there's any way to cover it up. I really need to get it hidden because I have a job interview three days from now. I'm asking just in case the bruises don't heal in due time. Any help and/or advice will be appreciated.

I was hoping I wouldn't resort to that. My skin reacts to that stuff, I get a rash, pimple, and other things. I remember when I had to use that for a high-school production.
Thanks for your quick response, I might try powder. Being a guy makes me reluctant to that solution though. Thanks again.

Of course, I'm curious now how you got them.
I think it's best to NOT look to cover them. The result will probably be more noticeable and distracting than f you just left them alone, and mentioned them when you introduced yourself.
You're applying for the job based on your abilities, not your appearance. Don't make a bg deal about it, and don't assume they will, either. People get bruised.
now, how'd they happen?

The bruises aren't normal bruises. They're light purple now considering that they were dark before. I'll think about covering them or not.
About how I got them.
I recently moved out of my house because my mom's boyfriend was abusive towards me. I knew that no one would be home there, so I thought of getting the rest of my stuff. Unfortunately he didn't go to work and he caught me. So then you could imagine just how thrilled he was to see me. And instead of getting my stuff like I planned, I got two bruises ... woopee thanks alot.

I'm really sorry that happened, Ryan. It must have been awful for you. Thanks for sharing, if you need to talk about it, I'm here.
I think that you should leave them alone for the interview, and when you introduce yourself, as your shaking the interviewer's hand, tell him that you had a bit of an accident, and maybe joke that you got it out of the way. Don;t be self conscious about it, and it won't matter.
Good luck with the interview!

It's all good, I kinda got used to the beatings after a while =P
I think I just might do that. It'll probably help with first impressions too. Thanks a lot again. Also I'll be sure to talk to you if anything comes up.

I don't think the bruises should affect the interview too much. Sadly people do judge on appearance over ability, but professionals shouldn't so hopefully you shouldn't have a problem. I say not to cover them and like same said, just make a comment about them right away and get it out of the way. Don't be self conscience about them.
Good luck with the interview and if you ever need another person to talk to, you can talk to me.
