It really depends on who the band/and or singer is. I mean the band totally wicked players but a crappy singer. So it really depends for me

Well, most of the time when members of a band go solo, it's to reach out away from the band part of music and see what they can do with solo.

Artists like Phil Collins, Sting, Tony Banks, all were in a band and they did very good with their solo time. But, for me it depends on the singer and who they are. But, other then that, it's about equal to me.

Not exactly. Most solo artists have said that they were happy that they left a band. They said that it gave them more freedom then what they had when they were with a band or group.

Band music is always better. Band music can be writen by a hired person or the music could be from constant hours of playing anything that comes to mind and seeing what you can do with little tidbits of it.

It's subjective completely. Band don't neccasarily make better music - that is your opinion. I listen to more solo artists. I pick that.

I can't decide beacuse some groups are really good and some artist also so I can not decide

I like both really. It depends on the type of music for me. If it's rock, like heavy metal or something like that, I like bands more, but there are definitely a lot of solo artists that I really like.

That's what I was gonna say. And Sting IMO, was better with The Police, but Phil Collins was much better solo. Though Genesis DID put out some good songs :)
