probobly. at first your period will be very light and irregular.

It probably is as it mostly starts around the age of 13. If it is redish-orange colour it is highly possible it is your period.... That is just the start thats is what happend to me ... Also your very 1st period it will not be heavy ...............

It most probably is, your first period will often be more of a brownish colour and lighter than a period that has regulated - and you may not have another one within the month. It's been said, just keep an eye out.

You may want to think about talking to your mum* or an older sister* about it, they're useful to you if you have any question and they can help you with buying sanitary products.

*If that's not possible than perhaps an older female that you feel comfortable talking to - like a teacher you know fairly well. Dads can also be useful, just remember that even though guys don't have periods, they are still aware of them (even if they pretend they have no idea)

By the way - tampons aren't really recommened for the first few periods. I suggest looking into sanitary towels first, they're a lot easier to deal with and your mum will probably say you're too young to use tampons...

i would say it is ur period and if it is not then it is sure as hell goin to come verry soon but just to keep from beining humilated just keep pads or tampons in ur purse or backpack and u should be fine

prob your first period has been know to have a lighter coler of blood but i dont know why
