is it moral reasons? jw...

whenever you have the urge to masturbate, just dont. if that not good enough, call up a friend and just chat with them. distract yourself.

Was it really bad?
Many teens masturbate 1-3, or even up to 4 or 5 times a day. It is very normal to masturbate, i would say at least 95% of the male population does.

If you do want to stop, i would advise looking at the puberty category and looking at other threads because i believe there are many others who tried to stop.

Good Luck!

why regret it ???? probably most teens masterbate and it is not normal. If you have not intent of masterbating occupy yourself by doing something .
If you need the urge to masterbate thats when you do something to occupy yourself. When occupying yourself you could : watch tv,play a game on the computer, text or ring a friend !

I think you need to figure out why you're ashamed of it. Has someone been telling you that it's wrong, or gross? What changed your opinion?

It's fine to not want to masturbate anymore, once you start you don't have to keep doing it forever. Since you're having trouble with that, how about at first just try to cut back. Since you've been doing this for a while, you've gotten used to filling some time with it (for example, if you normally hop into bed at night and masturbate before going to sleep, you've begun to associate the bed with masturbation and it's going to pop into your head whether you like it or not). So, maybe only let yourself do it a few times a week, and then maybe only once or twice a week, and then try just not doing it.

Remember there's nothing wrong with it, it's all about personal preference and what makes you happy. The only time you need to worry is when you're doing it several times per day, every day, and are blowing off other activities in order to do so (like saying no to the movies with a friend because it's during the time you usually masturbate).

Maybe it's a cultural thing? I see your from Singapore, it's a very conservative, disciplined culture.

First, everyone masturbates (girls, too). It's a biological thing, like sweating or hunger. And, it's been recorded that babies masturbate, so age 10 isn't 'early'. It's all OK.

However, unlike other things we do, it's not something that our parents give us permission to do. It's private, it's personal, and so it's somewhat secretive. And, of course, it feels good.

So, put all those things together (plus the newness of it, eventhough you've been doing it since age 10, it feels diff now at 15), and there's this sense of shame or guilt. Esp. if we live in a culture that frowns on self indulgence.

I'm not sure what else to say here, other than to try to accept who you are and to recognize that those urges and feelings and your way of delaing with them are perfectly normal and completely harmless, even if no one talks about it or tells you its OK.

have you told your parents about it? Maybe that's why you feel ashamed about doing it is that your parents don't know.

everyone does it, and you probably are just feeling guilty about doing it. its perfectly fine, and all it does is makes you feel good, no harm done.

Why be ashamed to masterbate its safer than sex with unwanted pregnancy and infections and relax and just enjoy your self
