ok so im 14, ive just started to grow armpit hair. the thing is is that i have little armpit hair that if i wear a sleeveless shirt, i would get laughed at because of this. i know that it is part of puberty but i just feel ashamed of it but i dont know why. do any of u guys feel the same way?

Oh ya i kind of had the same thing today. Pool party, most of the guys had more than me. It wasn't bad, noone commented on it :P

but it does feel embarrassing that other guys the same age as me have more armpit hair than me

Yea i know what you mean. I don't really think anyone else noticed mine, but i still felt it. Don't worry about it, if anyone makes fun of you, they're immature anyway.

Mmmm well it is kind of embarrassing

haha specially since they were all like REALLY skinny and im normal, maybe a little over weight, and we were playing chicken and they were like no hes heaviest :P

At 13 I had a whole bunch or armpit hairs and when I played hockey and had to change my uniform kids used to make fun of me because I had a lot.
So its bad either way, it just depends on what the kids are like.

a lot of my friends have been getting a lot of armpit hair, so the making-fun-of has gone down. you just gotta deal with it until your other friends start going through puberty like you are. funny thing is, my parents make fun of me now since i just went on vacation and they saw how much i had. it more annoying then when i was getting made fun of by my friends. lol

People go through puberty at differnet rates. I don't have that much armpit hair and I'm 14. Others my age have tons. I don't really care. If they try and make fun of you, brush it off. And, if you laugh at their joke about you, they'll be all like "Whaaah...?" because they meant to hurt you and you laughed. Reverse psychology. :D Nothing to be ashamed of.
