does your adams apple grow a bit before your voice is about to change? cuz mine has been more noticeable lately.

That a good question... i don't know lol. i haven't seen much of a difference if a difference at all in my adam's apple (i haven't exactly checked though). i have a question concerning this as well, sometimes my voice seems deeper and it's been happened for teh past couple of months, my voice would seem much deeper than usual but not all the time sometimes only for a day and only for a couples hours, but it's weird and i'm not sure why it's happening... is it cause of something i ate or throat irritation? or does it mean i'm getting a voice change

same with me. one day its deep(er) and the next its high. i tihnk its because i have allergies so theres alot of mucus in my throat which would probly make it harder to "access your deeper vocal chords".

I don't have allergies though, i'm not sick either... is there a problem? or is it normal? anyone know?

kyle029 - yes, it does. You will probably notice your voice change over the next few years.

i have a question concerning this as well, sometimes my voice seems deeper and it's been happened for teh past couple of months, my voice would seem much deeper than usual but not all the time sometimes only for a day and only for a couples hours, but it's weird and i'm not sure why it's happening... is it cause of something i ate or throat irritation? or does it mean i'm getting a voice change

ok first, you hijacked someone else's thread and asked your question in someone else's thread so that was kind of rude.

second, it's also a good question...and here's the reason:

What happens when your voice cracks is your voice box has a growth spurt. It grows so fast that your brain can't compensate that fast because it's so used to controlling it to use high notes, but now that it's growing, it can't even produce those high notes anymore, so it has a hard time controlling your voice.

So basically, your brain is confused. This is why some days your voice may be deeper than others - one day, you can control your voice, and the next, you can't. Your brain is getting used to your new body. It's just puberty...
