Kay well the question I am asking isn't really related to puberty but the 2nd question is.

So I am starting to go on a 12 week work out plan that I have made in the last couple of nights and was wondering does Riding my Bike medium-hard for about 30 minutes will that be enough cardio to loss the small layer of fat on my stomach? Also if not what does running? (I don't really want to run that's why I thought of biking)

Also this is the puberty related question does working out in any way mess around with me going through puberty?

Any cardio will burn calories and help burn fat, and combine that with a fit diet (work veggies and fruits and lean meats in there), then it will get rid of that fat. Plus, it will make your heart very healthy and strong. Just keep doing it!

No, not if you don't work out too hard. Bodybuilding and overtraining may be ok for adults, but it's bad for teens. As long as you don't work too many muscle groups each day or you don't max/lift too much weight, you should be fine.
A challanging or medium workout is ok for teens.

Thanks a lot. Its not that much fat but it is cover my abs and I want to get rid of it. How long do you think that will take. Also I have heard to be able to see your abs you need to have a BMI of 12 or below is that true because I am at around 18.4, and I would have to loss 35-40 pounds just to get to ten is that true and if it is how do I loss that much weight to get those results. Thanks.

The amount of fat you have to lose varies from person to person. It's really tough for me to say with my little experience (and the fact that I'm a twig :P) how much you have to train or how much you need to lose. I really don't think that it's 35-40 pounds though, from what you've said, you sound a lot fitter than that.

I think you should just keep training. And after your 12-week plan, you should still do a little cardio each day/few days, just because it's healthy and it'll keep you healthy! If you keep going, you'll definately be able to see those abs...if you work hard at it, probably/definately before 2009

here's a brief, general guide for getting abs. (http://forums.govteen.com/showthread.php?t=162471) I wouldn't reccomend the exact plan that's in this guide, but it has some helpful facts about getting seeable abs
