I think you'd like phantom planet since you like alien ant farm. Some of their songs are the same kind of song, but some are drastically different. lol And you might like pearl jam. The vocalist isn't as good as the bands on your list, but just concentrate on the guitar and drums. Hope I gave you some decent music. :D

Anyways, you might want to check out Anti-Flag's newest album, The Bright Lights of America, it has a new sound and I think you'll like it. You might not like their older "hardcore/punk" albums though. Most of those bands are great bands btw. :P

you might wanna check out killswitch engage, paramore, silverstien, enter shikari, the devil wears prada, *maybe* killwhitneydead, 3oh3!, dead kennedy's, black flag, anti-flag, the descendents, H.I.M., dream theater, hoobastank, daughtry, godsmack, relient k, underoath, attack attack! (theyre unsigned i think), PlayRadioPlay!, die zombie die (oh shiit. thats my friends acoustic ssolo project), i see stars, we came as romans, alls quiet on the western front (my friends are playing a show with them soon), that was something, a rocket to the moon, the rocket summer, green light go, dear juliet (his name is chase coy...he's amazing), backseat goodbye, daes vail, the flobots (i can ride my bike with no handlebars), KoRn, wicked wisdom, velvet revolver, andreyka, slash's snakepit, breathe carolina, the scene aesthetic,

thats all i can think of off of the top of my head.
i am really into michigan hardcore music, thats because michigan has a great hardcore scene seeing as how genocide (fastest band in the world) and the black dahlia murder came from there.

allso, seeing as how you like bob marley and some punk bands, you might like bad brains, but i doubt it.
most people hate them the first time they listen to them.

^^ Killswitch Engage, Paramore, Silverstein, and Underoath are all great bands. Not sure you'd like Black Flag, but checking them out isn't all that bad an idea. You may also like Action Action and/or Goodnight Nurse.
