Evidently, some people don't understand the question. I'm editing this thread so that people will understand the question.

I am not asking why people worry about penis size in general.

I am asking why people, guys and girls, always concerned on how long a penis is, and never how thick it is? Girth is just as important as length and in some surveys, girls rate it even more important.

so why is everyone so concerned about how long a penis is instead of both: how long it is AND how thick it is?? This is a question for both guys and girls.

dude, that isn't the question. i asked why people are so hung up about length and don't even mention girth or thickness.

Honestly i dont know but i think its cause some people are just picky.

its because its a guy thing to be insecure about it. and i think that guys think that a girl will judge them and/or their "performance" on their penis size.

I'm asking about length in particular...not penis size in general...

regardless, its the same principle though.

I don't want to sound rude, but it's not the same principal. I am asking "why are you worrying about length instead of girth". Not "why are you worrying about length?"

Because most people will look at their dick and think about how far it reaches from their body as in how deep it will go, as in they think of it in a wrong way in their plight of uninformed-nessnessness

Girth doesn't seem as important, and it doesn't vary as much from man to man. Length DOES vary A LOT, so more people are concerned that they are 'big'.

Girth is actually more important because the most important nerves are a few inches in the vagina.

Why can't guys just accept their size whether its big or small? Either way they still get the job done.

I reckon it's cause you can't really know if your normal, unless you read the penis size surveys on vt or if you compare with mates, meaning quite a lot of teens in the world aren't really sure what the average for their age is. Meaning they might feel they are small compared to what they see in over 18 porn films etc.

Also because a lot of guys think that girls will love you more if you have a big penis, which is not always true.

This is something I've actually always wondered. You can make a much more convincing argument for importance of penis girth than length. It's also hard to measure and varies more depending on measurement technique though. It seems odd that a guy with a pencil gets more "bragging rights" than a guy with a beercan. (That sounds weird, but you get the idea.)

Over on GT, our penis girth threads always come up ridiculously above average...like, over half of people are in the 90th percentile. I think people don't know how to measure (or fudge even more :))

Lol I just got bad rep and good rep for that post

Bad rep for: not reading thread right
Good rep: for being good aparently :P

anyway I'll answer it properly now (and get myself back on topic

Thats something that I have wondered about as well. I think its because a lot of guys think girth doesnt mean much to a women because of the fact most are blinded by length. but in actual fact I reckon girth its more important because aparently the wider/thicker the better pleasure a girl gets.

I think girth is important and after comparing with a few mates they commented on my girth saying its large but thought that length was more important.

I think we need some more girlies to comment on this.

I just think that if it really matters how long or thick the penis of your partner is then that means that you have some serious matters to work out.

"So what that he has a penis that's like 5 inches? I still love him." That's an example for accepting your partners size. Saying something like "You have a small 5 and 1/2 inch penis so I'm leaving you." is just being picky.

You girls need to stop being picky. Just my two cents. I'm not sure why it matters since you won't tell us.

i think it is beacause they want to be the same size as everyone and their age !!!:)

it's pretty much all in the guys head to tell, girls don't care about size and lengh it's all in the guys head then it gets turned around and sounds like the girls are the one who cares but it really the guys who care

girl;310596']why do you think girls care?

I don't. I'm asking why people focus on length and always mention length instead of girth.

I keep asking "why do you worry about length instead of girth" and people just keep answering the question "why are you worried about length in general" or "why are people worried about the size of their penis", but I'm not asking that, so that really really bugs me. You guys should read the first post before you reply. You keep answering wrong and this thread is just going downhill.

It doesn't really bother me much. Well I used to think that length was all that mattered because I thought it made you more of a man or something. But now I'm not really concerned about that, but having a large girth does make a nice bulge there XD
