Only thing she can do: SEE A DOCTOR ABOUT IT. They're the only people who can get it sorted out without causing damage to sensitive tissue.

Cotton bud... like a cotton swab (Q-tip) or a cotton ball? Either should be easy enough to reach and grab with two fingers, the vagina isn't that long. Or, she could get some tweezers and a hand mirror, try to see where the thing is, and use the tweezers to (carefully) pull it out.
