So Wednesday I went to go visit my grandma's dog which is an outside dog he's pretty big and likes to rub up against you and I played with him. Considering I didn't get too dirty I didn't take a shower that night and itched a little bit mostly around my groin and scalp. I couldn't sleep I was itching so bad I thought it might have been from me being too hot becuase when I get too hot sometimes I itch but I didn't think much of it. I went to go sleep on the couch in the living room where it's a lot cooler and I did well.

Thursday I take a shower as usual (I'm a pretty good showerer) and I'm not itching throughout the day. I changed my sheets, washed my comforter and everything. That night when I got home at about 2am I was in bed by 2:10am and I cannot sleep. I keep itching in those same places. I checked for bed bugs and everything. I get to bed finally about 3:30am when the itching seems to have stopped a bit.

I wake up this morning at 7:00am surprisingly not tired. I don't see any bug bites on me but their might be some on my back, I feel something a bit out of the ordinary but it could just be bacne or something. I'm still a bit itchy on my back and groin but not too bad, plus I haven't taken a shower yet.

I'm pretty much freaking out now that I've read stuff about bed bugs, mites, and even scabies. I think I might have caught flee's or the dog flu from that stupid dog. I'm a generally clean guy, I mean I'm average, I do go days without showering but nothing ever bad has happened besides me smelling a bit. And I took that dog to have it washed last week so It should be cleaner than ever.

Uh, oh, if you've got itching in hairy spots (like groin or head), esp. after being around a dog, then it's a pretty good bet you've got some form of flea, mite, etc. This is no big deal, but you should treat it. Call your doc on the phone, tell him what happened, and he'll get you a shampoo that will eliminate the problem.

Thanks, my mom is washing all my sheets in some special stuff. Hopefully that helps, I'm gonna see a doctor my dad keeps hassling me about getting a flee collar, ha.

I don't think it's a heat rash though, no signs of that kind of stuff. I can't believe I might have flees.
