Ok this is kinda embarssing but my hood thingy all shows between my vagina lips, it was a friend in my class said it was called my hood. It started showing when i was 9ish, no one else in my class is the same, as i dont have any hair there its easy to see, is this just a puberty thing or what? anyone else here the same? and like from what age? will it always be the same?

The appearance of the vulva as well as the "hood" is always going to be different from person to person. The overall appearance of a girl's vagina can be as unique and random as guy's penises are different from each other. In any case, your friend told you it was called your "hood" so she probably has the same thing; all girls have this hood-like covering over their clitoris (called the clitoral hood.... duh) some girls just have "hoods" that cover their clitoris more. Above all else you are normal. and have absolutely nothing to worry about. :yeah:

Don't worry about it. Every girl's vulva looks different, and each of its "parts" can vary a lot from person to person. As ThatCanadianGuy said, this is your clitoral hood, which goes over your clitoris. The clitoris is very sensitive, which is probably why it needs a hood, to act as a bit of a buffer between fabric and stuff. The clitoris may or may not stick out from under the hood, and this can change a little depending on how aroused you are at any given time that you look at it. All girls have this for their whole lives, it's just part of their anatomy, you're probably just noticing it now because when you were younger you didn't pay as close attention.
