So, I'm very scared, I'm having my rotator surgery today. I will probably be back mid-day tomorrow. I'm being completly honest, Im scared out of my mind. Even though Noor will be there she has to leave at like 9 (no visitors after 9) and she has to sleep because she has school. I could really use some words of encouragement.

The rotator cuff is the network of four muscles and several tendons that form a covering around the top of the upper arm bone (humerus). These muscles form a cover around the head of the humerus. The rotator cuff holds the humerus in place in the shoulder joint and enables the arm to rotate.
Rotator cuff tear is a common cause of pain and disability among adults. Most tears occur in the supraspinatus muscle, but other parts of the cuff may be involved.

Oh, I'm sorry I missed the send off! I'm glad it went Ok and you're on your way home. With Noor there, i suppose you'll be in very good hands, indeed.

Hey KGTM! Ahh I wish I saw this post a little earlier, I missed 18 months of cricket a few years back having surgery on my SupraSpinatus, the dominant tendon of the rotator cuff. I basically tore it right through trying to throw a ball too hard (so to speak).
It was about a 4-6 month full recovery period, and the shoulder is nearly as good as new now, a year and a bit later.
Which Rotator Cuff tnedon are you having surgery on?

All of them? You must have contracted a disease of sorts ... Its not normal to tear all 4. SupraLabral, Anterior Labral are alot less common to tear by themselves, let alone all in conjunction - was it an accident or something?
