Hi i'm just want to ask all of you girls a question.

Why do girls care about how a guy looks. I mean i am not ugly, a litle chubby yes; but why dont they care about a personality. I mean all the girls in my class are so shallow. I just think that personality should be the deciding factor.

Well, I'm staying away from any sort of relationship for a while, but I think it's nice to have someone who looks great to look at. Although, in relationships (unless they're absolutely fugly) I normally go on personality...

i dont really know why we care about how good a guy looks. it really shouldnt matter. the important thing should be that he's nice and treats you well. looks fade but your personality doesnt.
if you cant find girls in your school that think that way, then they arent worth your time or energy. if you notice, alot of HS relationships are based on outward appearance rather than inward beauty and most of those relationships fail. so just be patient...the right girl will come along for you and make you the happiest person in the world because she cares about YOU not your looks.

And we'd say that not all do, the same with this question. My mate loves ALL types of girls, seriously he's cool, everyone likes him, he says that you need something on a girl to cuddle, etc. I'm sure some girls just go on looks, especailly when there our age, but most go on personality, they wouldn't go out with someone they don't like.

1. TV
2. trying to impress their friends
3. or they are to shallow and think they deserve the best there is.

Most guys like skinny large chested womman becuase they find them atractive, the reason they find them atractive is back when we were still early humans skinny meant strong and large chest means able to supply a baby with lots of milk.

No actually back when we were early humans the fat women were more in demand, because the fatter you are the more mass your breasts have.. And indeed the ''size of your chest'' was considered a sign of fertility.

No one really likes Rosie *my friend* she has a slim figure, great taste in music. Funny, good personality...she even cut her hair just for charity. The list is endless! Yet she is often bullied by people who think there "cool" and above everyone else like there not human.

To be very honest, because that's the first thing they see. The first thing they connect with. If you don't look nice then they won't want to get to know your personality. Unless they get to know your personality first. That's the way I look at it.

I dont chose friends/gf over looks. I go with their personality. Rosie *I bring this up a lot* isn't the prettiest fish in the sea. Yet when i'm around her she makes me stronger then I really am. My hormones go wild. I would do anything for her. And its not because of the way she looks or dresses.
