Hi guys,
In school I see girls that have no panty lines and they wear thongs.
My mom makes me wear pantys because she thinks it is not good for someone my age to wear a thong.
How can I convince my mom that it is ok?

Maybe you can explain to her that you really want to try this and what harm can it do. Come up with the questions/answers she qill ask/say and give full detailed answers for all of them. I did the same thing, except my question way, "Can I have a puppy?" :D

Ask if you can try one,
And tell her that it's just a harmless experiemnt,
To see if they're cracked up to be all that.
That's what I did.
You're growing up and sooner or later she won't be able to stop you.

Well, I started wearing thongs at the age of 12, my mum had her doubts but I said that I just wanted to see what it was like, after a while she wouldn't stop buying 'em for me.

But you might wanna tell her that if she really objects to you wearing a thong then you'll buy one for yourself because you deserve the right to explore what may feel comfortable* for you, now that you are growing up.

*I find thongs more comfortable then panties but practically everyone I know disagrees...

If your mom thinks that thongs are "overtly sexual" or if you're worried that she'll think you want them just for the purpose of "getting guys" then tell her why you REALLY want them. Also, if she's worried that thongs are "slutty" or something, just tell her what does it matter what kind of underwear you have on, since you won't be letting guys SEE it anyway. That might make it easier for her to handle (you know how protective moms can be).

Oh, QFT! I STILL really dig awareness!

Like our Canadian friend suggests, it might be best to talk with mom and calmly, non defensively ask her what her concerns are. I'm pretty sure she'll talk (either directly or indirectly) about the sexual component, and if you non defensively set the record straight there's a good chance she'll say OK.

Parents get nervous with things. Sometimes they get them wrong. You have to calmly set it straight. Don't make this an angry control thing.

My mom never let me wear them, until I just went to the mall and bought some on my own. Tell your mom that you don't want any pantie lines.

we don't worry about this kind of think over here in the uk, we're too awesome for that. yeah, just tell your mum you want to try them, you'll pay for them for yourself, and if you don't like them, then you don't wear them. simple, problem solved

explain to her why you want them. and if she says no go out to the mall and buy some. although it could be a little hard to wash them if your parents wash the cloths.x

Thank you, I did what you said and my mom thought it was a good enough reason and now I can wear thongs whenever I want to.
Thanks Canadian guy!

Not a problem; I guess I did pretty good considering how harder it would be for ME to talk to my mom about buying them (yes, I am a guy)

id wait till your mom is comfortable with you wearing a thong. mothers may/are overbearing, but they do mean well and she will probobly come around if she thinks that you respect her.

Ya, my ex always wore thongs. The thing I don't really see if how can they be comfortable. Wouldn't the back part go up somewhere? Just wondering, I always asked why she liked them, Her reply.... Cuz I look hot in them =P
