well really there is no point to the website other then for my learning how to set one up so when i want to get a job, i can mention that i know how to do this kind of stuff.
but for real, its like a community website. i just wanted to build a compleate community with filesharing. i know i've hosted sites in the past and never got visitors. but im fine with that. its all about learning. but i would like it if some people would partisapate so i could build up a good site.
and because of this i will be leaving the computer that i am hosting the server on, basicly on all the time. the only downtime i expect is issues with comcast and or daily computer matinance.
there was already one issue and the server was down. but i fixed it within 5 min.

well you're like bragging and "Oh I fixed it in 5 minutes" And "I just did it this morning", if you want good advice, give a good subject.

heh, bragging??? im not bragging. its reality. my computer had to be shut down. then i noticed that the server software couldnt "listen" on the port. so i checked processes and shut down all the server ones. then i started it up again, reconnected the server.
DONE.
