Being drunk

Ok, so I've never been drunk in my life. I have drank alcohol, but not enough to get drunk. So, I'm wondering how many people on here have never been drunk before in their lives?

If you have been drunk before, how old were you the first time you got drunk? What was the situation (for example, at a party, with friends, alone, etc.)?

I am 13, I have tasted sips of my parents beer, but i don't like it, and i have never been drunk.

The only alcohol that doesn't make me cringe is framboise (not that i drink it, i have just tasted it). :)

I've tasted a lot of different things like some chardonnay, beer (don't get why people like it taste really bad), champagne, some vodka but it had like grape juice mixed with it but I only do it out of curiosity. Thankfully I've never drunk enough of anything to be drunk. :) Curious George ^^

My dad worked at a winery so i;m around wine all the time. The thing is I hate how any alcohol tastes. I can't stand it. I've tried many types of wine but I have Hated them all. I have never been drunk before and I plan to avoid all alcohol in the future. There is so many other drinks out there.

Ok I had a stupid friend, I was a stupid kid we were 5 & 6 we drank some cider enough to get 2 little squirts drunk.. Thankfully we weren't stupid enough to do that again.

Hmm next time I got drunk is when I was 14, the summer I turned 14 so last summer. There wasn't really much reason behind it, no peer pressure since I don't have any peers I relate to.. Bleh yeah I just had the oppurtunity so I did. Last time I got drunk was problably 3 months ago and before that 5 months ago.

I've gotten high [not off of any drugs anyone on here would know], but I've never been drunk... Though I have tasted wine and beer, but I've never drank enough of it for it to cause me to be drunk, and I never plan on becoming an alcoholic.. I'm probably never going to even taste beer again in the future, but I may drink wine or champagne at special occasions in the future... But I don't plan on ever getting drunk, or at least drunk to the point I pass out and/or die.

I was around about 11, maybe 12 the first time i got drunk. I was sleeping at my mates house and it was just me and him there, so we started drinking. I didn't even like the taste I just wanted to look cool. I took sips of beer before that like, but never enough to get drunk.
Also, thePianoMan, don't worry if you have never got drunk before. Trust me, it's nothing to be proud of, and remember different people have different limit's. You may be able to drink a lot of alcohol before you get drunk whilst other might not (I have a friend who got drunk from less than half a pint, honest to God!)

first time i was drunk was when i was 12, just with a couple of friends decided to sneek some vodka, wasn't peer presure because a few of my friends sat out and didn't join in, was my decision to drink.
i have a bad relationship with alcohol now, when ever i go out i have to get drunk otherwise seems like a waste of a night, any excuse to drink, i proberly drink and get drunk 2-3 time a week not good!
i hate beer never have liked it and never will drink it, same with most wines too, i'll only drink cider, vodka and other spirits.

I've never actually tried beer, but I've had wine, champagne, brandy, and Mike's hard lemonade. The thing is, I'm not worried about drinking, I just don't want to get caught. I don't care about legal trouble, but if my mom would find out, she would take away my license, and probably sell my car(I worked three fucking years to save the money for it). Shit like that. So I just don't do it. Also, if I didn't have something the morning after grad, I can guarantee that I would have got drunk and stayed out there all night. Instead, I gave two people a ride home at 1:30. That was really early since most people stayed out until about 7:30 or 8.

first time was when i was early 15y/o was with some friends and wanted to try it, id say i liked it to be honest.
i rarely drink though, its kinda that once in a while ting that happens when friends and i feel like it, the last time though was 2 weekends ago when i had about 14 shots of vodka and was running around and fell and really busted myself up, the next day i had a terrrrrible hangover and still the smell/taste of strong alcohol makes me sick.
i can honestly say though that i enjoy red whine responcibly, ive never gotten drunk off wine so thats one reason, and i enjoy a glass of wine at dinner on holidays with my family, but thats just me

The first time i had ever gotten drunk was when i was 13 like 2 months away from 14. My parents own a restraunt which has a bar in it, and in the back of the resraunt is where all the Alchol is stored. I went with my mom and dad once before the place was open and i snuck in the back of the restraunt and took a bottle of this really expensive vodka called "van gogh". I just poured the bottle in a water bottle and took it home. So when my mom and dad went out, i just invited one of my friends over and me and her drank the whole bottle. We both got really drunk, and she just spent the night at my house and my parents never found out. But, i have drank a lot before and i have only been caught once.

I have tasted some before. I do not drink. I won't until I am legal...maybe...idk. I don't think it does anything for you. If it makes you happy and loose, that's great but I can find other things to do that for me. I don't need alchol. My family are big drinkers and I hate to see that so I avoid it. To this day, I have not given into pressure of that sort and I intend to keep it that way. It is simple for me. If other people choose to do so, that's great. Just don't make it a habit and don't get caught.

EDIT: Also, most alchohol tastes disgusting anyways.

Have been drunk many times since then and have worked out the best point of drunkeness. I prefer to be drunk enough to find everything funny but not really any worse than that.

Alcohol is fine when drunk in moderation.

Wow just.....wow....i cant believe that you guys dont like beer. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BEER. I prefer it over any soda. Most of you will find a brand that you like eventually. There are a ton of different beers out there that all taste different just like soda i love mountain dew and hate coca cola. just like i love Samuel Adams but hate Heineken. I was 13 the first time i was tipsy (i was at a family reunion and my uncle gave me a couple beers). 15 the first time i was drunk enough to puke. It wasn't peer pressure or anything i called up my sister and her boyfriend and gave them money to buy me beer and spent the night there and drank till i puked and then had some more in all i had 10 deers in 2 and a half hours (don't drink that much) i puked so much it was ridiculed. If its your first time getting drunk and its beer i wouldn't recommend more than 5-7 depending on your weight. I get dunk about 2-3 times a month. And i ALWAYS have a designated driver if we go to party's. If i cant find one then i wont go no matter how big the party is. Unless i get permission to spend the night and if i do i have some one that inst drinking hold my keys.

my first time was in the Birmingham bullring it was awesome i was 14 and it was jsut so fun. However the following week i got drunk again but mixed drinks without realising the effects of mixing and broke my nose.

I drink with food at home sometimes and will normally drink if me and mates / parents go out to a restaurant. Also will drink at parties or if I've got friends round. Sounds like a lot but I keep well within my limits :)

And to add, I love beer, proper British / Irish beer :) Never used to when I was young but I've really warmed to the taste of it now. Favourites are IPA, Guinness and Corona.

Favourite other drinks are vodka + cranberry juice on ice or Strongbow (good old cider)

I was 14, I slept over my sister and my sister's gf's house (well, old house and ex gf now) and we all just stayed in, got drunk and ordered food... 'twas fun :)

I was just a wee bit too drunk and fell asleep in the shower =))
