Could someone explain why posts in the VT arcade forum dont count to your total post count, i dont get it

i dont think it is, also, it doesnt matter, a post is a post, i think it should count

Never going to happen. They aren't counted because children would post there all day just to have a high post count and we like to only count posts that are interaction within the community. Having a high post count of just games wouldn't be a true reflection of your involvement and contribution to the community.

I don't think it should. All of that in there is totally spam. It should not be counted and it will never be counted. People would just abuse the games in there. Your post count should be based on non-spam posts. The VT arcade is simply there just for you to have fun. Not worry about post count.

Yeah like the "Word Association" game. All you have to do is type the word that the previous poster had typed up.

So no it shouldn't count.

Yes it is just plain spam. I mean don't get me wrong i was disappointed when they made that rule :D, but i agree, it makes sense. I mean really why should a count to 50000 or a Ban Game count as posts?

They did before, because they were in people's diaries, but now we have a proper games arcade so they don't count as posts anymore.

I don't remember if they counted when they were in the Gaming Diaries section.

^^ They didn't if they were in that section, but that wasn't true of all games...

Regardless, its best off the way it is, and trust me, I'd argue (because getting the gaming threads to count would put me near, if not over, the 5,000 mark), but there's no point. It's an argument you can't win, the gaming threads in the VT arcade aren't going to count towards post count, its just not going to happen.
