On the front part of my leg below my knee, there are some leg hairs that are visible and long and there are some leg hairs that barely even pop out of their hair follicles(barely even visible). Why are the short hairs not growing any longer, unlike the long hairs? Why is there short hairs and long ones? Aren't they supposed to be all equal on the front side of your leg below the knee?

Um They will grow but you have to give it time. It isn't a instant thing. Also how old are you? Because if you have just started puberty they will still be starting to grow. Just wait they will grow.

I'm 17 years old and I've had my androgenic leg hair for at least 2 years. I don't know if the short hairs are going to grow any longer.

Or am I experiencing some kind of leg hair loss at my age in that one area?

Or is it because the short hairs didn't develop properly?

Androgenic leg hair, huh? Well, the hairs on your legs can be any length, although typically they're pretty even in length, color, thickness, etc, as you get older.

If you're noticing a change, either you're still developing, or you might have rubbed off some of the hair, maybe a bot of friction against the legs of your pants (that will do it). It takes time for them to grow back, maybe you're noticing that.
