My step dad's dad believed that if you had a dream about a lady in a black veil that you would die. Apparently he like a popped artery in his brain that he didn't know about when he went to the doctor. He told the doctor that he had a lot of headaches so the doctor told him to take aspirin which is actually the worst thing you can do for his condition. That night he had the dream about the lady in a black veil, he woke up, and from what my dad told me, he had pretty much gone crazy and started to build an imaginary brick wall in his mind but he was also doing it in real life. He died 2 hours later in the hospital.

So what do you think? Is it merely BECAUSE he believed that if you saw that dream that you would die that he had it because his body was talking to him or was it that he died BECAUSE he had had it? Do you guys think dreams mean anything? Do you think that your body talks to you through dreams? Or do they merely show you some things you have done lately in a vision put together randomly?

um dreams are picturs of reality and fake mixed so if you saw something your dream could exaggerate but also be right.

but in this case i think it was just a coinidence cause he had a popped arery nhis brain wich would mess up his brain so ya.

o anmd a black lady in a viel i had a dream about that only i didnt die i just had a normal day so i have to say it was all coincidence.

I think that his body made him dream this because it was dying. Your mind does strange things. I don't believe dreams have any impact on the real world, or can tell what's going to happen for real. I think it's the world which influences dreams.

Im sorry about your dad. This is kinda like (my sister told me) that if you say bloody Mary 3 times in front of a mirror at midnight you will see her. Its possible his brain was telling him he was going to die. The guys Above me I agree with too.

i heard that too and my sister tried it and i told shes was dum cause bloody marry i mean it has the word bloody in it obviously the person is angery so my sis tried saw her and was scared for life thats wat she deserves.

Yeah, I heard about that blood marry thing but what I heard is you go into a bathroom and turn off the lights. Then you look at the mirror and keep saying bloody marry and after awhile you see her and when you leave you have a green spot on your arm or something. Doesn't seem real to me though.

Im a para-normal believer, and a member of the TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society). As far as bloody mary goes its a myth seeing as she is a residual haunt and is seen rarely in England as from what I'm told. Also high EMF readins and certain things can lead to bad feeling such as the feeling as being watched and being sick.

Bloody Mary isnt real. I think the history of Mary was real, but do you honestly think looking into a mirror in the dark will make you see a ghost? Maybe if you get dizzy enough.

No shes real alright, just not Bloody the person who was rumored to be her is dead, EMF can produce things that are hamrful to people. One of them is called the "Birdcage" a small area usaully with an EMF reading of about 70.3 to 100.4 its extremely dangerous and can casue things simeliar to your step dad's, dad.

The mind is an amazing things.
A woman once wanted to be pregnant so bad, that her body went thorugh the stages without even having a baby... labor and everything.

But it could have been that your step dad's dad had himself so convinced that this was true, that it made the brain go out of whack. Completely possible.

But in all honesty, I think that his death was due to the artery.
