Ok, health and safety question here.

Sometimes when I try and j/o, I get pulled away immediately by parents or other things/people wanting me to go do something.

Now, sometimes I feel like I'm just at the point of ejaculation but then, I have to just kind of forget about it. A time or two, I've gotten to the point of pre-cum, but then thats all I can get to.

Is it ok to get to this point and just kind of, for lack of a better phrase, leave it hangin'?

nah, that won't do any harm. It's fine to do that.
Just remember that you may get an aching in your testicles when you masturbate and get really horny, then stop and don't do anything. This is called blue balls. It really doesn't do any harm and they don't really turn blue, it's just the term for the aching.

But no what you're doing won't harm you in any way. But just keep in mind that if they do ache after you do this, it's normal

As for me when I have to stop I lose my erection quite quickly. I think that is because I don't want anyone to see me. So It is fine if you just leave it. I would make sure you finish though because otherwise you may feel SLIGHT, to none pain in your testicles. The only reason I would say this is because you have kinda excited all of your sperm and your glads has produced semen but then it stops and they kinda get let down :P

So yeah I would say in general its okay but you may feel slight pain for a few mins.
