Well, if you feel comfortable having your parents check them, I guess. Personally, I think by definition a teen is 13-18. After 13 a kid can check his development on his own, and if he has any concerns then yes, a parent, or doctor should check it.

Well if you are young then it's fine, as long as it's nothing that can relate to sexual abuse.

I would say up until the age of 10 (or when ever you start to take showers) then it should stop. But, it's fine for parents to check and make sure that everything is working.

There are some cultures, such as in Cuba I think, where this is considered normal. I think most anglo Americans would say it's a little strange. As long as it isn't inappropriate touching, I guess it's not a big worry. But after they've hit puberty, kids should do this for themselves.

If your parents are that curious about your development, they should make an appointment for a physical with a doctor or something. I think it is inappropriate for parents to check their teen's penis development.

I think it's only ok for your parents to do something like this if they ask you first and you let them.
As long as they're not doing anything sexual, I think it's ok.
Although, I don't think that you should let them do it on a regular basis, it's really none of their business. They can ask and plainly see how you're developing all over (height, hair, etc), so they don't need to look at your penis

I think it is alright to do, as long as there is no abusive, sexual actions, or any actions that involve someone not giving permission.

If the child gives permission, and the parent is not sexually or otherwise abusing the child, i think it is fine

Nor do I. I think your parents should go as far as asking, but they do not need to inspect it. That's your doctors job!

I would say it is not normal. It is none of there buissness how you are progressing"down there". If you ask them to it is ok. As long as nothing sexual is going on, when YOU ask them to it is ok for you to get there opinion. Mainly it is the doctors job to do that.

It depends on what you and they agree to. If this is OK with you, then, fine. if they are doing this without your permission or consent, then that could be another story.

Parents, i suppose have certain rights with their kids. But then again, kids ahve certain rights, too, esp. when it comes to their bodies and their privacy. What constitutes 'OK' is best determined between the kids and their folks.

Yeah it seems just odd. You're "item" is usually just for you to check out for development. You can ask stuff about it, but other than that it's pretty limited.

Yeah, I think teens should do that for themselves. If a teen is worried, i think they should go to the parent. Not the other way around. That's just me.

i think its kind of perverted if your parents want to see your penis. you can do that yourself. and only if you have a concern should let your parents see. your doctor is ok to look at it because of physicals and so on.

If they're just asking, tis fine. If they are looking for themselves, and you don't have some medical condition they have to check, I would definitely get them to stop. If you think it is unappropriate (sexual abuse) report it.
