I'm new to the forum, and I'll be browsing around a bit, but I do have some question(s).
Is there a certain age when you are physically and/or mentally ready for sex, and how do you know you're ready to have sex?
Thanks in advance =]

you know when you are ready for sex and that is when you both want it and at a reasonable age . also when you truly love the person

Well yes, that's the thing. What is this "reasonable age"?

a reasonable age i think is 16, but in saying that it doesn't mean that you will both feel ready at that time. i think you need to talk about it with her/him first to see where you both are at with the sex thing. when you both feel comfortable and feel ready, then its probably a good time to do it. one last tip, when the time comes, be sure to use contreception!!!

I think it completely depends on the individual. For instance, I used to think that I would never have sex under the legal age, but when it came to it I just felt ready - physically AND mentally.
How did I know? It's just one of those things you can't explain, you just know. Like, How do you know when you're in love?
However, if you are 100% certain that you personally feel ready for sex, make sure your partner is 100% ready as well. AND think through all the possibilities of what could go wrong, and do you love him enough to risk it?
