uploading pics

i have a pic but it wont upload and it meets the criteria. wuts wrong.

if this is in the wrong place u can move it.

You can try hosting the image on ImageShack (http://imageshack.us/), and then using the options to resize the image to either thumbnail or avatar

with me, it's pretty much hit & miss, but I find its best to be a few kb's and pixels under the limit

The maximum size of your custom image is 120 by 120 pixels or 32.0 KB (whichever is smaller).

I believe the maximum size for profile pictures is 400x300 (which will probably be lowered, because they're only supposed to be a tad bigger than avatars and we now have albums for each user) and 51200 bytes (which, is 50KB).

if he is trying to upload them to an album then mabe he ran out of room because i think that is what happened to me.

Right. You're only allowed so much in the album. We have a very absolute amount of diskspace that we can use, so we cannot give megabytes of space for each user. Only upload the pictures that are the most important to you and that you want everyone else to see - no one should have more than 4 or 5 pictures like that.
