I'm am so tired of how I get treated about my computer. I spent the rest of my money on this computer so I can have something just for me and now my mom keeps coming into my room demanding me to move it in living room so she can get on it. I payed for it with money out of my pocket, I'm still paying for shit to fix this computer up and she says just because she's paying for the internet she has the right to use it whenever she wants. Now she's pissed at me because I upgraded my computer and all the music that she downloaded got deleted and now she says I can't have my computer in my room during the day. The worse part about it is she downloads music for her asshole boyfriend who don't give a fuck about any of us. I want to speak up and I want to tell her how I feel but I don't have a voice when it comes to my parents. I had my computer locked up before and she got pissed and took it in her room and wouldn't let me on it. I just shut up and wouldn't give her the password and eventually she gave it back, but now I'm afraid she's going to download a virus on my computer just like my brother did to hers. That's another thing she decided to let him on my computer even though he was bitching over that damn phone charger. I just pretty much destroyed my room because of this shit and I'm scared if this doesn't stop I might end up hurting myself. The only thing I can think of doing is just calling my sister and move 500 miles away from her.

I think you should try speaking up and telling her that you paid for it and it is yours.
Maybe you should start paying for your internet and then she won't have a reason to take it from you.

My sister and Dad went through the same thing.
Her computer, but his internet.
Sine shepays for the internet, she does has a right to use it,
There's no point in paying for something that you don't use.
As long as she doesn't mess it up, I'd just let her exclusively use it.
Come to a compromise with your mother...
You can create a separate user account for her, for example.

Well I'm on a shared computer and I always let my parents use it when they want. Since this computer was originally mine when I was about 8 my parent's computer went out so this is now the family computer.
But since you paid for that computer out of your hard earned money and she is paying for internet still gives her no right. That's your computer. That means you have rules for it. Sure, she's paying for the internet service, but she didn't pay for the computer herself. Downloading music is another thing, where is she getting from? If she downloads a faulty file with a virus then I would tell her to fix it.
I would suggest installing a password that you and only you will know. Don't tell her no matter what. If she wants to use the computer then she can go out and get one. Just refuse her to use it. That's your's and your's only!

The only thing I can really tell you is to start paying for your internet, and then she still might jump in with "It's my house, it's my rules".
Can you put up separate users and then use the control on it that says they are not allowed to download anything and then uninstall the program that she is downloading music off of?

Thats what I would do. You can also limit what sites she can go to such as youtube.

I've tried everything you guys have mentioned except for paying for the internet and it makes her even more furious, the worse part about it is that her boyfriend is the one convincing her about all this before she met him my computer stayed in my room and whenever she needed anything she would tell me to look it up for her, but now he has her convinced that I deleted everything on purpose and that I'm being selfish. I don't even care that she's getting on my computer because she's my mom it's just that the way she acts about it pisses me off. If she would ask to get on it or even just let me keep it in my room and she can come get on it whenever I'm not on it I wouldn't mind at all, but when she yells at me I feel lower to the ground than anything and it really does bring back those old thoughts and feelings. I really don't know how much more I can take living in this house my head feels like it is splitting wide open with these headaches that last for days.

Just ride it out and try to keep conflict to a minimum. That's the best advice I can give you and know soon enough you'll be on your own and can pay your own way.

That's what I've been doing all my life and I feel like I can't take any more of this. It's not even about the computer it's just that I don't feel as if I have anyone's respect and I'm just tired of it. I really just feel like swallowing a bunch of sleeping pills and never waking up I know it sounds bad but it's just how I feel. I was gone since about this time yesterday and I just got back 30 min. ago and I still feel as angry as I was yesterday, because no matter how happy I acted it that's all it was an act and I'm tired I really don't think I have the strength to keep this act up any longer.

Just try to remain calm. You've gone this far and there's no reason to do something drastic. Just let things slide and think of a better future.
