What songs do you know of that are incredibly depressing? For me I'd have to say Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton and Adam's Song by Blink-182. (Both of which are amazing)

I don't listen to depressing songs unless I am depressed, weird but that's how I work. Anyways when I'm depressed there is always Matchbox Twenty on and I never listen to Matchbox Twenty unless I'm depressed.

I like the Nine Inch Nails version of that song.

all of evanescence songs make we want to shoot myself. amy lee has such a great voice, but she cant do anything with it...like all of her songs sound exactly alike. and umm, blue october is pretty sad too...like it sucks, but its also sad!

I don't think any songs I've ever listened to make me sad. Usually they make me either calmed down, energetic, or nothing happens lol I just listen to it.

in loving memory - Alter Bridge....a/k/a the song I want at my funeral. It just reminds me of all the people I've lost over the years.

So soooo sad when that little girl talks about her dad.
Makes me tear up everytime I listen to it!

Even the original song is sad.

In My Arms by Plumb is a very sad song. But it's a good one, too. :D

~Ok VT I Have 1 Very Depressing Songs~

1. "Strange Fruit" - Billie Holiday

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXdnD39GYVU
History: For anyone who knows what this song
is about, they can easily say it's the most tragic
song and just the way Billie Holiday sings this tune
is "bone-chilling" and sticks in your brain.

Just lisen to the whole song and then look
at this:

HIM are totally depressing :S all their songs are gloomy and turn me to despairrrrr. But in a way I like them.
The Smiths' music always gets me down and so does their lyrics. It's not awful music or anything though, they are talented.
Alice In Chains, another depressing band.
Nirvana, I know they're amazing and everything but their music would probably be considered as "depressing" (except for the album Nevermind)

Oh and heres a depressing song:
Adema - Planets (some movie soundtrack) is distressing :S
